National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre undertakes a range of activities designed to enhance national data capacity by improving the consistency, quality and timeliness of monitoring and reporting of key indicators in breast and ovarian cancer control.
We work with key national organisations to compile the most recent statistics available about breast cancer incidence, mortality, prevalence and survival. National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre’s data and monitoring activities are informed by it's National Data Strategy for Breast and Ovarian Cancer (Publication date February 2008)
