Welcome to National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre's - Breast cancer in men website.

This website is for men with breast cancer, their families and friends and anyone else who would like to know more about breast cancer in men.

Breast cancer is uncommon in men, accounting for less than 0.8% of all breast cancers. In Australia in 2006, a total of 102 men were diagnosed with breast cancer. The mean age at first diagnosis of breast cancer in men is 68 years, compared with 60 years for females.
