National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre’s (NBOCC’s) Pink Ribbon Events take place in October, Australia’s Breast Cancer Month, to celebrate Australia’s achievements and inform the community about advances in breast cancer care, remember those diagnosed and promote important breast awareness messages to Australian women.

• NBOCC’s Pink Ribbon Events 2009

The Polo Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Campaign is an international initiative that aims to address disparities in care for women with breast cancer, with a particular focus on women in rural and regional areas.

In Australia, Polo Ralph Lauren donates 25% of the sale of Pink Pony merchandise to fund programs run by National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre to support and improve outcomes for women diagnosed with breast cancer. These programs comprise annual Scholarships for health professionals and Seeding Grants for community-based initiatives.
